Programs: Let’s Go Wild!

Science & Math & Technology

Science! Math! Technology! Integral components in a school curriculum. Think about the possibilities! Only 32% of 8th grade students are proficient in Math. To ensure a brighter future, students must immerse themselves in math, science and technology. Science and Technology curriculums are most productive when implemented using interactive, hands-on, inquiry-based, learning and research approaches – which are then meaningfully integrated with Mathematics and Literacy. These programs provide an open door to their future!

We have scheduled a visit from The Wildlife Center in Espanola. The Wildlife Center brings a selection of native New Mexico reptiles, birds, and mammals to schools to teach about animal habitats and adaptations. All of their animals were rescued, mostly due to injury, and have been rehabilitated at the center. Some animals cannot be returned to the wild, so now they are teachers. Our kinder students will love this program! Thank you!
